Wow! Amazing week returning from our visit to the Living Miracles Monastery in Duschene, UT for the Strawberry Fields Music, Movies, and Enlightenment Festival. 

The monastery is the first and only of its kind for those who are moved to practice the loving principles of A Course in Miracles on the journey to inner peace, healing, and connecting to God. 

The setting is nestled in the beautiful canyons of Utah. With a very peaceful, simple, rustic, lovely atmosphere and feel. 

During the three day event, we were greeted with the most loving, warm welcome ever! Followed by deeply inspired teachings and talks given by David Hoffmeister, Q&A, uplifting music by musicians in residence there, and incredible teachings integrated with movie presentations. 

The two movies featured over the weekend were Jesus Revolution (2023) and Echoes in the Canyon. (2018) Both films are amazing, demonstrating examples of collaborating with others for a higher purpose, and deepening trust and faith.

Echoes in the Canyon was particularly meaningful to us. Highlighting very famous musicians in the late 60’s who found themselves inspired to collaborate (instead of competing) with each other in Laurel Canyon in California. Wonderful!

The whole weekend was finished off by a dance party and plenty of warm hugs! 

We jumped right back into action after returning home with another mixing session for our next release “Are You.” We’re really excited about this follow-up single, collaborating with our sound engineer and producer Hayden Hallat!

We are elated to move forward with preparations for the Rockin 1000 performance in Portugal. Adding on to our active schedule is practicing the set list for the performance. Which includes rock classics such as “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” by Nirvana and “Numb” by Lincoln Park. 

We’re releasing some cute shorts this week on social media, with sneak peaks in our recording sessions. And it’s been fun learning about what’s trending and relevant hashtags! I also had fun creating cover art for “Are You.” 

For our third single, “Illumined Soul”, we’ll be moving in a very deep direction towards an inward journey of awakening, mystery, and emotion. This song will go straight to the heart. Michael, Hayden, and I will begin recording in mid August, and we’re prepared and ready to give it all of our heart and soul! We want this song to be an absolute masterpiece. 

It is our sincere desire that this music will have meaning and solace for all who listen!

Very excited to announce confirmation for participation at the Rockin’ 1000 performance, September 14th, in Leiria Portugal! This has been months in the making as we initially signed up with our audition clips back in February. We were also on a waiting list since May, waiting for other musicians to cancel. Needless to say, we’re absolutely thrilled. Time to practice the twenty classic rock songs for the show!

Rockin’ 1000 is very unique in that it’s a performance of 1000 musicians at the same time. What an amazing opportunity to collaborate, step outside of comfort zones, and share in the joy of music with folks from all over the world. Can’t wait to meet international musicians and see Leiria, of course. Getting the passports ready! 

It is an open event, held at the The Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa football stadium in Leiria. Check out the Rockin 1000 website for tickets and more info. It will be a VERY exhilarating event! 

We are overjoyed that “Echo” went live on Apple Music and Spotify streaming platforms this week. We’ll be focusing on engaging those outside of our familiar circle to captivate a new, expanded audience via social media. 

It warms the heart to hear wonderful feedback about the song. The intention is for people to feel GOOD when they listen, with a strong sense of joy and happiness inside.

In a few days we’re off to Duchesne, UT. for The Strawberry Fields Music, Movies, and Enlightenment Festival at the beautiful Living Miracles Monastery. The three day event will be filled with music, enlightened talks, and amazing movie commentary to expand the heart and mind. There’ll be lots of hugs and joy with so many Mighty Companions! 

We feel utterly blessed and cared for by Spirit as we continue this amazing journey!

We had a very active week getting things ready for the July 7th release of our brand new single “Echo,” the first from our forthcoming album Illumined Soul. Our new website launched, and we had a really cool photo shoot, with the ultra artsy RiNo District in downtown Denver as a backdrop.  

Amazingly, we also seemed to have time to start the mix of our follow up single, “Are You,” with our super awesome engineer Hayden Hallat. Hayden served as co-producer on both songs, and will continue to collaborate with us as our new producer moving forward. We’re very excited!

I really enjoyed creating the cover art for the new single. It turned out exactly as we envisioned,  mirroring the energy of the song. Vibrant, colorful, warm, and joyful. 

We stopped into The Corner Beet in Denver on Monday for their open mike. This is such a great spot, and the feeling of community and warmth there is wonderful. It was riveting, performing a cover of “Ain't No Sunshine” by Bill Withers, followed by a performance of “I Am,” another original which will appear on the album. 

A BIG thank you to our beloved nephew Kaelas Blagg, our (super smart and tech savvy) web/social media manager for being on the ball and helping us get everything published and ready to go.
